Taco, Dobby, and I woke up to our first snow of the season. We all watched contently as each flake fell to the accumulating pile of powder out our back window. In less than 15 minutes, we were packed up and ready to set out for a day spent searching for the deepest piles of frozen rain in the land. We ended up an hour away at Sill Branch Falls. We hiked a couple miles up to the grand frozen waterfall.
Dobby and Taco each wore their tough Rufffwear collars that have lasted through years of countless adventures, and I had on my trusty Keen hiking boots that provide relief in knowing I can grip icy rocks beneath my feet. We spent all day playing in the snowfall around this magnificent waterfall, and did I mention that we were celebrating my 6 month of pregnancy?!
