Favorite Backpacking Treat

Hi Everyone, I have done the AT and PCT, by far my favorite thing ever is going into town and finding a McDonalds. Does anyone else have a treat they love to give themselves when they stop in town?

Pizza is my go to, maybe along with a beer. Sweets are good too, but I am usually looking for something to really fill me up when coming off the trail

Every time my wife and I go hiking we get ice cream afterwards. It doesn't matter how far the hike is, there's always ice cream afterwards. Our favorites are McFlurrys, Blizzards and Cook Out milkshakes.

Can never ever go wrong with a tub of Ben and Jerrys after a month on the trail.

My dad and I always used to bring a small pack of Pringles to share at the top of the mountains or look out.

I love to try to find a local brewery or distillery and just sit and enjoy a cold refreshing drink while getting a little piece of the town.

I'm chuckling because these are not the responses I expected to read. Nothing healthy mentioned! Guess I'm not so bad after all with the choices I make--Bounty Bar (red with the dark chocolate). Dark chocolate makes it healthy, right?

Ice cream is hard to beat in the summer. Hot chocolate, a hot meal or even a cup of coffee are my summer go to.
